I’ve been back on dairy for a week now, which means I only have a week left to enjoy the dairy delights of life. The eczema is worsening on his torso where it had cleared up during the almost vegan days, and I’ve been googling diaper contents (poogling?) again.
At least now I know I have to say my goodbyes, and I can make the most of the time I have left. For my breakfast this morning I had french toast stuffed with marscapone, topped with maple cream and berry compote. Unfortunately, I will probably not be able to indulge in such extraordinary culinary delights every morning for breakfast, but I can at least eat normal cereal for a few more days, and I have one more helping of original recipe Sabbath waffles in my future.
Keep my little baby guy in your prayers, though, if you would. The eczema on his arms and legs never really improved much, even during the dairy free weeks, so I’m not sure if it just needed more time, or if there’s another dietary irritant that I need to identify.
Meanwhile, I’ll be the one eating cheese enchiladas and all of the chocolate I got for Christmas for 7 more days.
